- Access your resources on campus – Academic advisors and internship coordinators in your academic department, other faculty and/or your career counselor in the Career Development Center.
- Think of who you know outside of your campus community - neighbors, parents, local businesses, and non profit agencies all make good internship leads.
The Internship Expo and the Internship and Job Fair
Held every January in the Plemmons Student Union, the Internship Expo brings internship hosts to campus to speak with prospective interns. The Internship and Job Fair, held each semester with 130 or more attendees in Fall and Spring, will have 70% of the employer guests also requesting to speak with students interested in internships.
