The Career Development Center hosts a variety of career events and programs throughout the year to connect students with potential employers. These career fairs and events provide students with the opportunity to network, access numerous jobs and internships, and can even lead to an interview afterwards. If you are looking for part-time employment, either on or off campus, come to the Campus Work(s) – On Campus & Part-Time Jobs Fair! On-campus departments, off-campus businesses, and local organizations will all be recruiting at this fair. Find a job that fits with your schedule and provides you valuable career-readiness skills.
This workshop will help students explore what meaningful work means to them and their callings by tapping into the themes of purpose, passion, service, and authenticity found throughout the Common Reading book. Through interactive discussion, reflection, and each participant’s lived experiences, we will examine how values, skills, strengths, and interests map to potential career paths.

The Construction, Design, and Renewable Energy Technology Career Fair is a targeted event specifically created to connect employers and students in this popular discipline. Serving students and alumni in the Sustainable Technology and the Built Environment department, the event is host to many organizations across the construction, design and renewable technology industry that are ready to network with students and introduce them to valuable internship and job opportunities, while also creating a pipeline of potential future interns and new hires.
Want to learn more to prepare yourself for your career in Health Sciences? The Career Development Center will be hosting an employer panel from a variety of health sciences industries. This is a great opportunity to network and learn from employers to help you prepare for the workforce and begin your career in health sciences!
This event will be held in Leon Levine Hall, the home of Health Sciences. You may park in the Leon Levine Hall parking lot. Food will also be provided during the event. We hope to see you there!
The Internship and Job Fair is our largest and most comprehensive career event. Serving students and alumni of all majors and skills, the event is host to many organizations across all industry sectors that are ready to network with students and introduce them to hundreds of valuable internship and job opportunities.
Appalachian State University’s Education Career Fair connects school administrators, superintendents, and other employers from the field of education seeking to hire candidates in education and related fields with talented students and alumni from our Reich College of Education. The Education Career Fair allows a variety of education-related employers to network and discuss career options and employment opportunities with a talented pool of participants from App State, including approximately 150 student teachers graduating in December 2025 and students and alumni looking to network and explore careers in the education industry.
