Student Veterans

The Career Development Center is proud to support the work of our student veteran and dependent population. We recognize that the transition from the military to civilian word can be tricky and we want to help you be as successful as possible. The following links are resources to help you find the next path for you, after Appalachian.

You can also reach out to Geralyn Mitchell to set up a coaching appointment. Geralyn has been a resource for our student veterans here at Appalachian for 6 years, serves as secretary on the Military Affairs Committee and worked in the Newport News/VA Beach, Virginia area as a recruiter working with transitioning military prior to coming to Appalachian.
