Associate Director of Employer Relations and Marketing

Jennifer Shaffer is the Associate Director of Employer Relations and Marketing. In this role, she oversees the marketing strategy for the Career Development Center, the daily operations of the employer relations team, and she manages the execution of our campus-wide career events. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Master of Science degree in Management, both from the University of Maryland. She has lived in Boone with her husband and two dogs for 7 years. Together, they enjoy all the outdoor activities that the mountains have to offer, particularly hiking, kayaking, biking, and running. Jennifer also has a love of all things vintage, and in her spare time, enjoys finding and refinishing antique furniture.
