Peace Corps Recruitment in the High Country
Our goal is to keep you informed on recruitment events taking place at Appalachian State University and the surrounding communities.

Campus Visits
A Peace Corps Recruiter visits Appalachian State University and the surrounding community several times a year. While in the area, the recruiter holds general information sessions, attends an AppState sponsored career fair, and conducts interviews.

Peace Corps Prep Program
The Peace Corps Prep Program will prepare you for international development fieldwork and potential Peace Corps service. Through interrelated coursework, hands-on experience, and professional development, you'll build competencies in training and experience in a work sector, foreign language skills, intercultural competence, and professional leadership development.
