The Career Development Center hosts a variety of career events and programs throughout the year to connect students with potential employers. These career fairs and events provide students with the opportunity to network, access numerous jobs and internships, and can even lead to an interview afterwards. Are you having trouble connecting your interests to specific majors and careers? Are you wondering which jobs align with the majors you’re currently considering? This workshop will provide tangible strategies for career exploration and help you self-assess your skills and interests before it’s time to declare a major.
Students registered for this event will receive free access to complete a career assessment. Assessment instructions will be shared a few days prior to the event and should be completed in advance to participate in workshop activities.

Appalachian State University’s Education Career Fair connects school administrators, superintendents, and other employers from the field of education seeking to hire candidates in education and related fields with talented students and alumni from our Reich College of Education. The Education Career Fair allows a variety of education-related employers to network and discuss career options and employment opportunities with a talented pool of participants from App State, including approximately 150 student teachers graduating in December 2025 and students and alumni looking to network and explore careers in the education industry.
