Tyler is a two-time graduate of Appalachian State with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Higher Education. He is excited to assist students in finding what drives them and by encouraging them to explore more of who they are as students and growing professionals. He has also enjoyed guiding students on their academic journeys previously in both the Office of Admissions and Transfer Admissions and Engagement at Appalachian as well as serving in admissions roles at Blue Ridge Community College and Western Carolina University. A couple of his biggest passions are all things cars and racing. He and his spouse regularly watch Formula 1 and NASCAR races together and find great interest in following all types of racing.
