Maria Kowalsky is an Assistant Director for the Career Development Center and a Career Coach for University College. She received her undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Penn State University, and her graduate degree in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from The University of Pittsburgh. Maria has experience working for non-profit, government and educational organizations specifically in the career counseling and mental health fields. She is an advocate for mental health and deeply enjoys working with the college student population. She approaches her work from a person-centered and holistic viewpoint. Maria loves all things true crime, enjoys yoga and outdoor activities, anything and everything that relates to her dog, and exploring hiking trails with her husband.
