Career Cafe

Career Cafe is a virtual recruitment and networking fair that allows organizations who are unable to participate in our on-campus fairs to still have an opportunity to connect with Appalachian State students. Serving students and alumni of all majors and skills, the fair is open to organizations across all industries/disciplines and will feature a more informal delivery format via Zoom. Students will have the opportunity to move between rooms and browse organizations to learn more about who you are, what you do, and what jobs/internships you have to offer.
Upon registration, each organization will create their own meeting link and send it to us via email at jacksonjr@appstate.edu. Our team will compile all the meeting links and distribute to students with information about each of your organizations prior to the fair. You have total flexibility as to how you use your meeting room. You can give a presentation/overview of your organization, you can simply chat informally with students as they come in and out of the room, you can set up break-out rooms to meet with students one-on-one outside the main meeting room, etc.
