Career Counseling Appointments
To make an appointment with your Career Counselor or schedule a mock interview, you may call the Career Development Center (CDC) at 828-262-2180 any day Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m. or come to the CDC in room 369 of the John E. Thomas (JET) Building.

  • Appointments are for approximately one hour.
  • Make as many appointments as you need.
  • We are not able to make “same day” appointments.
  • Typical issues discussed: Job/Internship Search, Resumes, Interview Preparation, Grad School Applications.

Drop-Ins
Monday through Friday, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. we have “Drop-In” hours during which students may come by the Career Development Center, Room 369 of the John E. Thomas  Building  for a brief (10-15 minute) meeting with a Career counselor.

  • Drop-Ins are on a first come first serve basis. So, there may be a slight wait upon arrival.
  • Drop-Ins are most appropriate for: resume or cover Letter Review and quick help issues.
  • Drop-Ins are held only during Fall & Spring semesters.

Careers in my Major
Careers in my Major is a resource provided by the Peer Career Center which gives related career titles, employers, skills and professional organizations for all of ASU's majors.
